| At least ten percent of the world population live and work in megacities, defined as cities with more than ten million inhabitants. We need to face and overcome numerous obstacles to reach the human and economic development that these metropolises require. |

Judging by our successful experience last year, “Megacities 2011” will be a conference about the presentation and debate of innovative projects (products/solutions/answers) related to the major challenges that may occur in an emergent city, looking for a transformation to greener, healthier, friendlier, and more efficient metropolises. |
